Job Description Manage first‑party property damage litigation matters from intake through resolution. Represent homeowners in insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives. Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration. Represent clients at hearings, court appearances, and trial as needed. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and progress. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to deliver outstanding client service. Stay current on developments in applicable state insurance law and first‑party property litigation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active Colorado Bar license (Denver) or Texas Bar license (Houston) in good standing. 2+ years of litigation experience. Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. First‑party property damage or insurance litigation experience preferred.
