Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Staff Accountant:

• Record financial information to the general ledger in compliance with established standards policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applicable.

• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and analyses of revenue and expense accounts.

• Prepares internal and external financial statements.

• Assists with internal management reporting and external audit support.

• Designs implements and executes efficient internal control procedures.

• Compiles data on financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenditures and forecast budgets.

• Reviewing and analyzing sales and use tax laws in all 50 US states and Washington DC.

Job requirements

Key Requirements:

• Excellent written verbal technology and leadership skills.

• Familiar with a variety of accounting and cost accounting principles practices and concepts. Experience in Microsoft D365 preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. Masters in Finance or MBA a plus.

• 4-6 years of general accounting experience including financial analysis.

• Ability to multi-task interact with others and possess above average time management skills.
