We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join an exceptional educational team in El Paso County, CO. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity running from July 2025 through May 2026. In this role, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by implementing therapy plans and working closely with students to enhance their communication skills in a school-based setting. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with guaranteed 37.5 hours weekly. Position Details Location: In-person (no hybrid or remote opportunities). Schedule: 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours weekly. Start Date: August 2025. End Date: May 2026. Base pay range: $37.00/hr - $43.00/hr. Note: This pay range is provided by Onward Search; actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Responsibilities Implement speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Conduct individual and group therapy sessions based on documented treatment plans and IEP goals. Assist in administering speech, language, and hearing screenings and informal assessments. Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and documentation tools. Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate service records. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of communication strategies. Monitor and report student performances to the supervising SLP for program updates. Support scheduling, clerical duties, and organization of therapy spaces. Follow ethical, legal, and professional guidelines for SLPA practice and scope. Participate in required training, supervision, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in speech language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or a related field. Speech Language Pathology Assistant License from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Previous school-based or pediatric experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
