Title
Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period (6-week schedule period)

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks

Requirements
- Years of Experience: 2 years
- Certifications:
- TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- EMR: Cerner
- Unit-Specific Skills:
- Emergency/trauma care (adult & pediatrics)
- Triage
- Blood product administration
- Start and maintain IVs, IV vasopressors
- Care of ventilated patients; procedural sedation monitoring
- Tele-neuro and tele-psych familiarity
- Basic trauma/ortho neuro skills

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Assess and triage patients based on the urgency of their medical conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as per established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families on health management and emergency interventions.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- RTO/Time-off: Max 7 days preferred; no RTO during the first 7 days or last day of the contract.
