Sr. Engineering Program Manager

Medtronic seeks an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead software development programs for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams across R&D, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions to deliver complex medical device software releases.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of software release programs for Affera portfolio
- Develop integrated program plans, manage critical paths, milestones, and dependencies
- Drive alignment and accountability across software, systems, quality, regulatory, clinical, and commercial stakeholders
- Manage program risks, technical dependencies, and escalation processes; facilitate governance reviews
- Coordinate resource and capacity planning; prepare executive communications and decision materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years program/project management experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years
- Proven leadership of large-scale software development programs in regulated environments
- Experience managing software-intensive medical device or regulated product development
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, release management, and product lifecycle processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority
