Temp-to-Hire: Precision Metal Fabrication Operator

Machine Operator Temp to Hire 1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm M–Thu, OT on Friday and Saturday $18–$20/hr Machine Operation & Production Set up, calibrate, and operate fabrication machinery, including but not limited to press brakes, shears, band saws, drill presses, and grinders, sandblasters. Load and position raw metal sheets, tubes, or bars into machines manually or using overhead cranes/forklifts. Monitor machine cycles and operations to detect any malfunctions or defects, adjusting settings as necessary. Metal Preparation & Finishing Perform material prep work, including deburring, cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning rust or scale off metal surfaces. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1–3 years of experience operating metal fabrication machinery in a manufacturing or job shop environment. Technical Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Measurement: Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares). Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
