RECEIVING COORDINATOR

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Receiving Coordinator for an extrusion company in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate oversees raw material intake as well as finished goods. This is an excellent full-time temporary to hire opportunity.

Pay rate

$17.00 per hour

S chedule and Hours

7:00am – 3:30pm Monday- Friday (may work as late as 5:00pm based on deliveries)

Receiving Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload incoming freight, including bulk deliveries of raw resin, additives, or metal alloys, using powered industrial trucks (forklifts).
• Compare packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy in product type, quantity, and weight.
• Inspect incoming materials for defects, moisture, or damage prior to storage or routing to the extrusion line.
• Log received goods into the company's [Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)] systems. Ensure all storage areas are organized and properly labeled.
• Proactively move raw materials to the appropriate production bays to prevent machine downtime.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines regarding hazardous materials and forklift operation. Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment

Receiving Coordinator Qualifications and Requirements

• Safely spot, open, unload, and switch bulk railcars is a MUST
• 1–3 years of warehouse, receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Current certification to operate a forklift and other powered industrial trucks is highly preferred.
• Stand for extended periods, walk on concrete, and regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• math skills, including the ability to convert fractions and decimals, and fundamental computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure zero discrepancies in high-volume industrial inventory
