Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

SCHEDULE
Days - 3-12 hour shifts (36 hours weekly), No guarantee of hours.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid nursing license in the state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Preferred certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to the established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient treatment effectively.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions.
- Assist in trauma and emergency procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
Must arrive on the Thursday before the start date to attend a required employee health appointment on Friday.
