Weekend Gallery Front Desk Associate

Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly team player who enjoys working in a creative space and helping people have a great experience. Our gallery is full of guests excited to try glassblowing, so this role is a good fit for someone who likes meeting people and keeping a busy day running smoothly. Hollywood Hot Glass is a glassblowing studio in Hollywood, FL, offering hands-on classes, custom artwork, and installations. We also operate two studios at sea in partnership with Celebrity Cruises.

Schedule and pay: Part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00–9:00 PM. Availability to fill in on other days is a plus. Pay starts at $20 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, answer questions, and serve as the main point of contact in the gallery
\n
• Answer phone calls and emails, manage bookings, and process payments
\n
• Help guests choose workshops and artwork
\n
• Keep the daily class schedule organized and communicate updates to the studio team
\n
• Clean and maintain the gallery, front desk, and guest areas
\n
• Use downtime to take care of cleaning, restocking, and other tasks that keep the studio running smoothly
\n
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with the public
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
\n
• Ability to stay calm, prioritize tasks, and solve problems during busy periods
\n
• Self-motivated and willing to pitch in wherever needed
\n
• Attention to detail and confidence using scheduling and payment systems
\n
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or office administration preferred
