Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Night Shift

We are seeking a registered nurse dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care during hospital stays. Key Responsibilities Include Performing thorough assessments, including admission, transfer, post-op, and discharge needs, with accurate documentation. Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, lab data, and physician orders. Administering medications, managing IV fluids, and collaborating with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes. Providing patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensuring safety protocols, infection control, and specialized care for high-risk patients. Recognizing clinical changes, implementing appropriate nursing actions, and communicating effectively with team members and families. Maintaining professional accountability through adherence to policies, ongoing education, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Delivering compassionate, respectful service, ensuring patient dignity, privacy, and comfort, while fostering a collaborative team environment. Qualifications & Skills Licensed as a registered nurse in the applicable state, with BLS certification. Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing demands. Knowledge of infection control, safety practices, and evidence-based nursing care.
