About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Thursday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Must-Have: General MRI, stroke, trauma experience Description: Hiring process involves profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Travelers must meet a radius requirement with necessary documentation. Onboarding includes a week of department-specific orientation. Department utilizes three MRI scanners. Common imaging studies include general MRI, stroke, and trauma evaluations. Average number of scans performed daily is approximately ten. The department uses EPIC and Fuji Synapse for electronic medical records and image storage. Equipment includes GE 3T and 1.5T MRI machines, as well as Siemens 1.5T machines. IV starts are required for this role. Radiologists are available onsite. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Scrubs are required to be black in color. No call or standby requirement exists for this position. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during the assignment.
