About This Role
Deliver high-quality care and education to infants, prioritizing their developmental needs in a secure and engaging setting.
What You'll Do- Establish a supportive learning environment that encourages child growth and development
- Maintain a tidy and healthy classroom environment
- Adhere to individualized infant care plans, including schedules for feeding, diapering, and other needs
- Conduct regular observations, assessments, and daily documentation to track student progress
- Attend mandatory staff training sessions and professional development opportunities
- CDA certification in Infant Toddler or Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or NYS Certification (Birth through Grade 2)
- At least 2 years of working experience in childcare, with a minimum of 1 year focused on infant care

Jericho STEM Academy is an OCFS-licensed preschool program that provides a nurturing environment designed for children from 6 weeks old to pre-K. Our goal is to prepare your children for success in all aspects of their lives. Our STEM curriculum is aligned with New York State standards and designed to ensure your child thrives academically and socially.

We conduct annual evaluations of our teachers, facilities, and curriculum to ensure that your child receives an exceptional education that gives you peace of mind. At Jericho STEM Academy, we recognize that every child is unique. Our flexible learning approach supports individual growth and development. We offered flexible scheduling options, including 2 to 5 day fixability schedules with half-day and full-day availability. Extended care was also available.
