Oracle Database Administrator

Install, administer, and support Oracle databases
Build and troubleshoot Oracle RAC environments
Manage and support Oracle Data Guard configurations
Perform database restores, refreshes, and migrations between environments
Troubleshoot Oracle and Linux-related issues
Support production readiness and critical business initiatives
Partner with senior Oracle DBA resources on Oracle infrastructure modernization efforts
Cross-train into Microsoft SQL Server once fully ramped in the Oracle environment

Required Skills & Experience

3-7+ years of Oracle DBA experience
Minimum 3 years of Linux administration experience
Hands-on Oracle RAC installation, administration, and troubleshooting experience
Experience building and supporting Oracle RAC clusters
Oracle Data Guard experience
Linux shell scripting experience
Experience with Oracle database backup, recovery, and database refreshes
Ability to troubleshoot RAC node failures, heartbeat, and interconnect issues
Strong understanding of Oracle running on Linux environments


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Microsoft SQL Server experience
Experience with database automation
Experience supporting large enterprise Oracle environments
