We have a strong 70-year reputation for workplace excellence and our leadership demonstrates team member commitment and appreciation every day!Benefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental InsuranceTuition and Educational ReimbursementFlexible scheduling & generous PTO planSupportive environment to grow your career4.5% dollar for dollar match on our 403BFirst dollar generous contributions to HSA accounts plus a match!Amazing residents, team members, and leaders!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining the operations of the café.Attending to the food and beverage needs of our residents, guests and employees.Promptly obtaining & preparing orders.Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control in food preparation and serving.Follow menus provided, making changes only with the consent of the supervisor.Makes, prepares, and serves sandwiches and salads according to café recipes.Makes, prepares and serves baked goods, hot cereals, breakfast items and grilled items.Follows daily and weekly duties.Prepare and serve at the proper time, sufficient quantity of food to meet the service requirement.Maintain proper sanitation and safety in food preparation areas.Responsible for keeping café area clean, neat and orderly.Responsible for operation and maintenance of the cash register, and handling of café income.Maintains professionalism when not assisting customers; avoids eating, sitting, reading, watching TV, or any other activities that are not work-relatedParticipate in cleaning of cooking area and other kitchen equipment and facilities.We strongly believe in our mission of empowering individuals with choices in purposeful living.
