Forklift OperatorAHI, a member of The Baillie Group is looking to add a Forklift Operator to the team in Waynesboro, VA. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world class lumber organization as a first shift forklift operator. The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed.Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits:Full Time HoursCompetitive PayFull Plan of BenefitsForklift Operator Responsibilities:Operating forklift in a warehouse settingWhen not driving a forklift, employee may be asked to complete other work as neededMust be able to lift 50 lbsIdentify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for. Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferredHigh School degree preferred, but not required.Assist in all areas of productionAdherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.Ability to work independentlyCapable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precisionForklift Operator Qualifications:Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift of 10,000 lbs. and heavier requiredPrefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 yearsMust be self motivated and organizedWillingness to work in outside environmentWillingness to work overtimeLocating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for ordersAbility to work independentlyBy submitting this application, I certify that all information on this application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
