Ag Sales/Grower Support Rep

Job Description

A Large Blueberry Nursery is seeking a Grower Support Rep to build relationships with growers throughout the Florida and Georgia region. The Grower Support Rep will work remotely and be required to travel throughout the region walking blueberry fields and meeting with customers on a regular basis.


Grower Support Rep Responsibilities:

• Frequent travel throughout Florida and Georgia meeting with commercial growers, some overnight travel required
• Provide technical support on site evaluations and grower recommendations
• Execute sales to commercial customers and assist with product selection
• Accurate and timely use of company CRM software

Grower Support Rep Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Crop Science, related field OR equivalent experience
• 3-7 years related technical, sales, or customer service experience in Agriculture related to growing berries
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• MS Office proficiency plus SAP or Salesforce experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and have a valid driver's license for travel

Grower Support Rep Compensation/Benefits:

• Training on berry crop varieties
• Competitive base salary plus incentive and comprehensive benefits package
• Generous vehicle stipend and CC for gas/travel expenses
• Travel to Corporate office twice annually for meetings
