About Us

Founded in late 2018, we are an owner-led group in payments and direct-to-consumer e-commerce. This role sits in our digital operation — the engine of the group: an affiliate network, a CRM, a certified payment platform (PayFac), and high-volume DTC funnels selling health and wellness supplements. The team is roughly 15, fully remote, and AI-first in a way most companies only claim: people here do their jobs through Claude agents, daily.

And it runs at real scale — several thousand orders a day, a sale roughly every twenty seconds. Manufacturing and fulfillment live elsewhere in the group, with their own teams; this side is entirely digital.

About the Role

The CEO currently runs day-to-day operations himself. This hire takes that over.

You arrive as the company grows: a wave of new hires lands in your first months, and you help recruit them, onboard them, and build them into a team. Much of the operating rulebook has never been written — you’ll be setting policies for the first time, not inheriting a binder. This is a build seat, not a caretaker seat.

Your Teams

• Merchant Operations — two administrators running merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB

document intake, and processor workflows on the payment platform

• Risk and Compliance — merchant underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and card-brand

compliance

• Media — a script writer, a production coordinator, and a media buyer running an in-house

video-ads program

• Partner Sales — business development reps recruiting resellers onto the payment platform

• Engineering — led by its own Lead Engineer, who runs the engineers and the technical work;

you hold the delivery line — commitments, deadlines, escalations — never the technical decisions

How you run it is yours: you’ll bring the management system you’ve built and trusted across years of running remote teams, deploy it here, and sharpen it with AI. One thing is non-negotiable: this is a daily-sync operation — people are seen and heard every working day. Remote does not mean absent.

What You’re Held To

• Delivery is real and visible — commitments made, tracked, and kept, and you know the

moment they aren’t without the CEO ever asking

• The new team lands — hires recruited, onboarded, and productive, on policies you wrote

• The CEO exits the follow-up business — measured from day one: items resolved without

touching his plate versus items routed to him

• Quality gates hold — nothing launches and no merchant boards without its checks done and

evidenced

• Merchants board every week — nothing sits in the onboarding queue

• Vendor spend is controlled — routine spend you decide and log; bigger commitments you

negotiate first and bring one recommendation with the delta for a single yes/no

What We’re Looking For

• Years of running operational delivery for remote teams — and a management system of your

own to show for it. In interviews you’ll walk us through it: how you structure cadence, how you build observability so people actually do their jobs, and what you’d deploy here

• You’ve built teams, not just run them: recruited, onboarded, written the policies people operate on

• Present and available: you run a daily rhythm and you’re in it — visible, reachable, on the

calls. Managing from behind a dashboard is not this job

• Daily hands-on Claude (or equivalent), delegate-then-audit style — you assign work to AI and

make it find its own errors

• Vendor negotiation with receipts: a quote, what you got it to, the recommendation you wrote

• Written-first, evidence-first — you like the follow-through most managers avoid

• Fluent written English · 4+ hours daily overlap with US Eastern · no current company ownership, no client base, no concurrent employment

• Nice to have (learned on the job): payments industry exposure

Trial and Compensation

Compensation at market rate for your country and experience — state your expectation. Milestones are agreed with you in week one, starting with what your system will make visible by day 30.
