TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred, will consider 1.5 years with Level I Trauma experience License: Must have valid state license, pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC before submission) Must-Have: Travel experience strongly preferred; Level I Trauma experience preferred Description: Travelers should expect their assignments may consist primarily of admitted patients. Approximately 60%-80% of the Emergency Department is admitted, and many of the ED rooms are "ED Holding." Medication administration includes IV medication via the seven medication rights; documentation and communication of clinical findings are essential. Ratios in the Emergency Department are 1:5. Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed. Weekend days constitute Saturday and Sunday, while weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Floating to Adult PCUs is an expectation based on staffing needs. Floating to the pediatric ED is optional. Open to accommodating block schedules? No. Travelers will be expected to document and communicate clinical findings consistently. Healthcare personnel must comply with facility policies and patient care protocols. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. Daily census ranges from 170-200 with an average of 175 visits per day. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Trauma and resuscitation experience is preferred. Travelers must pass all required compliance documentation within set timelines before starting the assignment. No locals are accepted within a specified radius. Medical or religious exemptions will be considered for required vaccinations. Candidates must have strong experience related to the role and be prepared for a fast-paced environment.
