Vascular TechnologistLearns to perform diagnostic vascular procedures according to hospital and accreditation standards and providing an accurate preliminary interpretation.Minimum Qualifications:One of the following:Graduate of an accredited Vascular Tech programOne year of field experience if not a graduate of a school designed for vascular technologyIn addition, 100 or more studies each performed in carotid duplex, venous duplex and arterial non-imaging exams to ensure Clinical competency in carotid duplex, arterial non-imaging, and lower extremity venous duplexLicensure/Certification/Registration:BLSOne of the following:Registered Vascular Technologist through ARDMSRegistered Vascular Sonographer through CCIIf not currently registered:Must be registry eligible at time of placement in positionRegistry must be obtained within 6 months of placement in position
