The Nottingham Pet Clinic is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Established in 1985 by Dr. Nancy Freeborough, our small-animal practice is nestled between Syracuse University and Le Moyne College. We proudly serve our community with a mission of genuine care and comfort to our patients. Our receptionists are loved by our clients and staff alike, because they are amazing! Job Responsibilities:

• Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
• Providing exceptional customer service such as greeting clients, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff
• Scheduling referrals
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food and supplements
• Maintain the cleanliness of reception area and waiting room
• Retail sales

Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or relevant education and relevant work experience
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Organizational Skills

• Ability to multi-task under pressure
