Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for floating between the Machine, Fabrication, and Paint shops to assist with maintenance needs. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical components, maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule, and supporting team members with routine daily equipment maintenance. You will also manage inventory control of all maintenance tools and replacement parts, work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks, and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Compliance with all company policies, rules, guidelines, and behavior expectations is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist team members with routine daily equipment maintenance.
• Inventory control of all maintenance tools and replacement parts.
• Work independently or with additional team members to complete tasks.
• Basic knowledge and use of common hand tools, grinders, various power tools, and electric meters.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines, and behavior expectations.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.
• Ability to determine necessary tooling/parts needed to perform repairs.

• Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have to be okay with Pay ranging from $20-24/hr

Work Environment

Work in an indoor, climate-controlled machine shop during the first shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with little to no overtime required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
