As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Winston Salem, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying credentials, controlling access, and following post orders related to security-related operations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by preparing accurate reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following applicable laws, policies, and use of force guidelines for an armed post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
