Field Service EngineerAs a Field Service Engineer, you play a direct role in keeping advanced semiconductor systems running at peak performance. Your work enables the production of microchips that power everyday technologies.At ASML, you will support customers by installing, maintaining, and improving complex equipment on-site. You will help transfer knowledge and build strong partnerships with customers while contributing to continuous innovation.In this Field Service Engineer role, you will work independently while collaborating with teams to deliver reliable results and improve system performance.Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Service Engineer, you manage maintenance and troubleshooting activities while working closely with customers and internal experts. You take ownership of issues and help drive timely, effective solutions.Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems.Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and customer scheduling.Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams.Train customer staff on system use, maintenance, and best practices.Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers.Education and ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation tools).Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you'll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
