Quality Technician

Quality Technician Kennametal has an immediate opening for a dependable Quality Technician to work at its manufacturing site located in New Albany, IN. The facility is a very clean, climate-controlled, state of the art and organized shop - many machines that you will work on are less than 10-years old. Several employees enjoy 20+ years of experience at the facility and are eager to share their knowledge of the organization. Responsibilities: Incoming inspection of Customer supplied components using precision instruments and handheld X-ray gun for material identification Perform visual inspection of post brazed components Perform and document critical dimensions after brazing cycle or machining operations Document non-conformances and notify quality manager of discrepancies Perform final inspection and ensure products meet customer specifications. Complete inspection paperwork in Microsoft Access and Excel.
