Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will engage in teamwork and uphold the standards of nursing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Current RN license and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (the latter within 90 days of hire).
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume emergency department preferred.
• Flexible and possess a teamwork mentality with ability to coach and provide feedback in real time.
