Production Technician

Production Technicians Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for Production Technicians in Bowling Green, OH. The Production Technician is a mid-level manufacturing position within our Thermal Spray operation. In this role, you will safely operate production equipment, monitor manufacturing processes, and produce high-quality coated components while meeting production goals. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to following standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and company safety regulations. All employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts 5AM to 5PM (4 on, 3 off schedule). Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing output. Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers to meet production schedules and product specifications. Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks to verify products meet established quality standards. Identify equipment or production issues and promptly communicate concerns to maintenance or supervisors. Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and machine guarding requirements. Complete production, quality, and inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic equipment cleaning to ensure reliable operation. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and workplace safety. Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams to maintain efficient workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Operate a forklift safely when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to follow written work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards. Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigating production or quality tracking systems. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate production and quality records. Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification through company-provided training. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures. Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to frequently use hands to grasp, handle, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and equipment. Ability to frequently reach above shoulder level and below the waist and occasionally climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to visually inspect equipment and finished products for quality and accuracy. Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and cut-resistant gloves.
