This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced deal professional to work directly with strategic buyers and business owners on a variety of middle-market transactions across multiple industries.As a leader within our Transaction Advisory team, you will play a key role in helping clients evaluate opportunities, identify risks, and make informed business decisions throughout the transaction lifecycle. You will have direct access to clients and firm leadership while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that values initiative, professional growth, and exceptional client service.At Moore Colson, you'll join one of Atlanta's most respected CPA firms, recognized nationally for its independence, workplace culture, and commitment to developing its people.What You'll DoLead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic clientsAnalyze target company financial results, operational trends, working capital requirements, and quality of earnings adjustmentsIdentify transaction risks, opportunities, and key deal considerations that may impact valuation and negotiationsDevelop and present financial analyses related to normalized earnings, indebtedness, cash flow, working capital, and management projectionsAssist clients with accounting and transaction-related advisory services throughout the deal processPrepare client-ready reports and communicate key findings to stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, target company management teams, attorneys, investment bankers, and other transaction participantsMentor and develop team members while contributing to the continued growth of the practiceWhat We're Looking ForActive CPA license requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMaster's degree (MBA, MAcc, Finance) preferred3-5 years of transaction advisory experience and 5-6 years of overall accounting experienceAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong client service mindset and consultative approachSelf-motivated professional with an entrepreneurial spiritCollaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy Moore Colson?We believe our people are our greatest asset.
