Our customers are our communities, and when they need us, we are there.The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and operational readiness of all facilities, including headquarters and remote yard locations. This role ensures that all properties, equipment storage areas, and support infrastructure are safe, compliant, and optimized to support rapid deployment during storm restoration events.Responsibilities:Overseeing daily operations related to fleet, facilities, and asset management: Ensuring smooth and efficient processes across various departments.Resource management: Optimizing the allocation of resources (personnel, materials, equipment).Policy and procedure development: Creating and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.Performance monitoring and improvement: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and identifying areas for process improvement.Team leadership and supervision: Leading, motivating, and mentoring teams, including performance management and conflict resolution.Compliance and safety: Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.Strategic planning: Collaborating with senior management to set operational goals and contribute to strategic planning.Communication: Effectively communicating with stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and other departments.Preparedness for, and support of, emergency response eventsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred)5+ years of facilities management experience, preferably in construction, utilities, or industrial environmentsExperience managing multiple locations or regional operationsStrong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, emergency-response environmentExcellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management softwareExperience in electrical contracting, utilities, or storm restoration operationsFamiliarity with fleet yards and field crew support logisticsKnowledge of OSHA regulations and tool safety standardsWork Environment & TravelPeriodic travel between yard locations (PA, Pittsburgh, MS, CT)Ability to work extended hours during storm events and emergency response situationsCombination of office, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments$85,000 - $105,000 a year plus full benefit package and incentives.
