Assistant General Manager – Kids Fitness & Youth ProgramsKidStrong Pembroke Pines is seeking an energetic, hands-on General Manager to lead our kids' fitness center across sales, operations, team development, and member experience. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of experience in leadership, management, sales, customer service, operations, coaching, or a related field and enjoys working with children, families, and teams. Qualifications:1–3+ years of leadership or management experienceStrong leadership, communication, organization, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsExperience in sales, customer service, membership growth, or business operationsAbility to lead, coach, motivate, and hold a team accountableExperience working with children, fitness, education, athletics, or coaching is preferredComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentAbility to work the required 5-day schedule, including 1 weekend dayAbility to remain active throughout the day, demonstrate physical activities, and lift up to 50 pounds when neededCPR and First Aid certification preferred; can be obtained after hireResponsibilities - General Manager (Kids Fitness & Youth Programs)Lead and execute a 16-week pre-opening presale campaign, building local awareness, generating leads, and securing founding memberships before launch.Lead daily center operations, team performance, and the overall member experienceLead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable while recruiting, hiring, and training as neededDrive membership sales by engaging prospective members, conducting tours, following up with leads, and building relationships with familiesOwn membership growth, retention, customer satisfaction, and overall center performanceManage staffing and class schedules based on center needs and demandBuild community partnerships and support local marketing and outreach effortsCoach approximately 2–5 classes per week and model the KidStrong experienceMaintain high standards for program quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand consistencyCreate an energetic, welcoming culture for kids, families, and staffStep in wherever needed to support the team and successful operation of the centerSchedule40 hours per week, 5 days per week2 weekdays: ~8:30 AM–4:30 PM2 weekdays: ~11:30 AM–7:00 PM1 weekend day: ~8:00 AM–4:00 PMWeekend day will be Saturday or Sunday based on the center's needsBenefits & Perks$55,000–$60,000 base salary + quarterly and milestone bonus opportunitiesTotal compensation potential of $65,000–$80,000+ per yearHealth, dental & vision insurance401(k) with company matchingPaid time offOngoing training, professional development, and career advancement opportunitiesPositive, team-oriented work environmentAbout KidStrongAt KidStrong, our mission is to help parents build smarter, stronger, more athletic kids—with character.
