Project Manager/ BA

Position Overview A highly skilled and motivated Investments Technology Analyst with a strong background in investment management, technology, data and supporting large technology implementation projects. The role requires analysis of end user-facing, data and integration related requests for a strategic initiative to move the client’s investment business to a Global Target Operating Model (TOM) by implementing a set of vended and internally built solutions. The domain includes client, portfolio management, operations, compliance and data solutions Trading Compliance and has a global focus. Preferred Domain Knowledge OCIO, Private Alternatives, Hedge Fund business Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AI tooling System exposure around State Street Systems, ADP, MCH, RKS, TruView, FactSet, S&P EDM, Jacobi, CRM Systems gives an advantage Responsibilities Perform analysis by collaborating with global stakeholders (business, global peers, vendors, technology stakeholders) to understand end user & integration needs and design the global solution with minimum regional specific solution asks. Write the business specifications around an application or specific function. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Assist in solution designing that brings together the solutions of vendor partners aligning with business requirements for internal development. Lead user group meetings and stakeholder collaboration to prioritize the backlog. Consult with development team to resolve queries or issues with clear requirements. Support testing team as needed, participate in test plan creation & execution, and sign off on functionality before production releases. Assist in the estimation of features, products, projects and in resource budgeting. Prepare training materials and answer users’ questions. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison to development teams operating in region and analysts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics). Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus. Strong investment domain knowledge & experience around investment products, asset classes, and investment strategies. OCIO business knowledge is a strong plus. Experience working as an analyst on large global solution initiatives spanning across regions with multiple internal builds alongside vended interface solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with the ability to adapt priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong knowledge around software development methodologies, Agile development, tools, SDLC, and technologies. Broad domain experience with portfolio and order management systems (e.g., Factset, CRD/State Street Alpha), investment data warehouse solutions (e.g., Eagle), modern cloud‑based data warehouses/lakes technology, BI tools, investor client reporting systems, and client‑facing systems. Experience with technologies like cloud‑based data warehouse/lake platforms, such as AWS data technologies, Databricks, and Snowflake platforms. Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Qlik) and designing data solutions for ease of use by BI platforms to enable data self‑service. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
