Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Hagerstown, MD providing home health care where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. You will collaborate with nurses, PTAs, OTs, and home health aides to develop and follow through with plans of care. A mandatory weekly case conference is required. Minimum Requirements

• Master‘s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Home health experience preferred. Candidates with 1+ years of experience in hospital, SNF, or outpatient settings will be considered.
• Ability to travel within Washington County, MD between patient visits. Mileage reimbursement provided between first and last patient visit.
• Professional dress code: navy blue scrubs or a button-down shirt and khakis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior home health physical therapy experience.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Mandatory weekly case conference: Thursdays 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
• On-call or weekend requirement: no.
• Coverage area includes Washington County, MD. Candidate must travel between patient homes.
