Title: Medical Social Worker

Status: Part Time

Shift: Weekdays, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM, 20 hours week. Flexible days and hours. On-call 1 weekend per month.

What will I do as an employee with Redstone?

As a Medical Social Worker , supporting the Redstone mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Planning, coordination and delivery of quality medical social work services, assuring compliance with corporate standards and federal, state and local regulations
• Provides ongoing assessment of clients, assuring an accurate evaluation of client needs
• Develops a comprehensive care plan that addresses the social work needs
• Works with patients and families regarding coping with illness, accessing resources, or other issues affecting the patient's health status Links client/family with needed services

What do I need for this role with Redstone?

• Master of Social Work.
• Licensed Social Worker.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
