  Grounded Solutions is looking for a talented, personable, and driven Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team!

This is a direct-hire, 1st shift position, Monday–Friday, with some overtime, occasional weekend work, and regular travel.

Occasional Travel Requirement

This position requires the ability and willingness to occasionally travel for out-of-town and out-of-state commercial projects as needed.

Travel may include overnight stays and extended periods away from the Indianapolis area.

What You'll Do

• Test, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Work on commercial electrical projects both locally and while traveling
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Evaluate customer requests and provide accurate, thorough quotes
• Identify materials and quantities needed for projects
• Document work using tablet-based technology and company software
• Follow established company processes and procedures
• Perform all work with safety as a top priority
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Journeyman-level experience
• Commercial electrical experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Extensive knowledge of the NEC
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using tablets and learning new software technologies
• Ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects
• Ability to accurately identify materials and quantities needed for projects
• Ability to evaluate client requests and develop accurate quotes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight and out-of-state travel

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be willing and able to travel, including overnight and out-of-state assignments
• Must be able to work extended hours and occasional weekends based on project requirements
