Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Mids Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week | 6-Week Assignment | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with additional hall bed capacity
• Perform and assist with procedures including NIH stroke assessments, IV placement and blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain all required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — must be included in submission packet
• Function as a collaborative team player within a multidisciplinary emergency care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to start within 5–7 days of offer; no RTO or special scheduling requests will be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a high-acuity emergency care environment
