Given our continued growth, a highly motivated RF/Microwave Engineer role is available on the Continued Engineering Support (CES) Team. The CES team handles programs that transition to production, are in production, and sustainment programs. In this role, you will support the continued production and sustainment of complex analog and digital modules, submodules, and circuit card assemblies, working closely with cutting‑edge hardware on advanced military platforms. This position is full‑time, onsite, and requires consistent in‑person collaboration. Responsibilities Assess design updates to existing microwave designs. Conduct analyses to assess performance impacts. Technical management of microwave subcontractors to design and develop microwave subassemblies. Mentor other engineers and technicians. Work with hardware suppliers. Support product yield and affordability improvements. Debug complex circuits. Support the transition to production of new products. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time deliveries of quality products supporting the War Fighter. Test and troubleshoot RF frequency converters and related submodules (e.g., low‑noise amplifiers, pre‑selectors, filter banks, mixers, PLLs, LOs). Generate and review technical content (test procedures, drawings, specifications, reports, ECOs). Use microwave testing equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal synthesizers, and power meters. Qualifications The candidate should have a strong college background in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of RF principles and concepts. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience on RF/Microwave designs; or Master’s Degree with 0+ years of experience. RF path cascade analysis and experience with non‑linear analysis preferred. Working knowledge of active and passive RF/Microwave component designs. Experience testing and troubleshooting RF frequency converters and related submodules, including low‑noise amplifiers, pre‑selectors, filter banks, mixers, PLLs, and LOs. Experience generating and reviewing technical content for test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, and reports. Experience conducting microwave testing with VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal synthesizers, and power meters. Motivated self‑starter with leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent problem‑solving, judgment, and analytical skills. Ability to close on discrete tasks in a timely manner and lead others to closure (Own the Design). Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 0+ years of experience. Experience contributing to RF/Microwave design teams, including scheduling, budgeting, design reviews, build support, design qualification, and system integration. Experience implementing improvements in product and test design to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput. Experience interfacing with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other functions to drive defect resolution to root cause. Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module, and circuit design and development. Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans. Experience in microwave system and circuit design using Agilent ADS. Active Secret Clearance (highly preferred). Benefits Flexible schedules, including every other Friday off.
