Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves supporting surgical teams with a focus on a variety of procedures including general, gynecological, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, neuro head and spine, and trauma. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in these specialties and be able to independently precept. The role requires current and extensive surgical technologist experience, along with travel experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, MA
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with non-billable orientation. No 10-12 hour shifts are available for this need.
• Required Qualifications: Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), a minimum of 5 years current CST experience, and travel experience. Candidate must have their own vehicle, and their permanent address must be included in the profile.
• Additional Qualifications: Proficiency in General, Gynecological, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neuro head and spine, and Trauma procedures. Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic medical record system highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-section, ENT, plastics, DaVinci Robot, and precepting ability.
• Submission Requirements: Two recent supervisory signed references from within the past two years. Active American Heart Association BLS and NBSTSA certification are mandatory.
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date 07/20/2026.
• Additional notes: All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after an offer may lead to rescinding the offer. Candidate must have their own vehicle; this is a firm requirement. All RTO requests must be included in the profile.
