Junior Data Scientist

Dallas, TX Full-time $65000 - $90000 Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. In this role, you will analyze large datasets, create predictive models, and develop actionable insights to support business goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about data science, has strong analytical skills, and is eager to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Collect, preprocess, and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability. Handle missing data and outliers using appropriate techniques. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and trends. Create visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn). Build and train predictive models using machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, and clustering. Evaluate model performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, and recall. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and product managers, to align data solutions with business needs. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders. Assist in maintaining and optimizing data pipelines and workflows. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure smooth data integration and transformation. Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data science. Participate in team workshops and training sessions to enhance skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Knowledge of SQL for database querying.
