Job Description
We are seeking an OCI Database Engineer with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, cloud infrastructure management, and high-availability database environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Linux administration, and database performance optimization.

Role Summary
The OCI Database Engineer will manage Oracle databases and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery readiness across OCI and AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Oracle databases on OCI and AWS platforms.
- Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN environments.
- Perform database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure components.
- Manage Linux servers supporting database workloads.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor databases using OEM/Grid Control.
- Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues.
- Support automation using Python or Shell scripting.
- Ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.
