Healing Touch - Massage Therapist Volunteers for Hospice Patients
Orange Hospice
Orange Hospice is seeking skilled and compassionate massage therapists to join our team as volunteers, providing comforting touch and relaxation to hospice patients in their homes or places of residence. If you have a heart for making a positive impact and possess the healing touch of massage therapy, we invite you to consider this fulfilling volunteer opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gentle Massage Sessions: Offer soothing and gentle massages to hospice patients in their homes of places of residence, promoting relaxation and comfort.
- Comforting Touch: Provide compassionate touch to enhance the overall well-being of patients facing end-of-life journeys.
- Tailored Care: Customize massage sessions based on the individual needs and preferences of each patient.
Qualifications:
- Certified and licensed massage therapist.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Good communication skills and ability to connect with individuals facing end-of-life challenges.
- Completion of hospice volunteer training (provided by Orange Hospice).
