Working in the deli department places you on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. What you'll do Maintain high-quality products and ensure they are available for members. Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations. Handle claims and returns, zone the area, receive and stock merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise, complete audits and required logs. Assist members with locating merchandise and providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Requirements Minimum qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Skills: Passion for stocking and customer service, member satisfaction focus, solution seeker, adaptable, curious and creative thinker. Preferred qualifications: Experience with freezer, cooler, and deli stocking; ability to operate equipment and follow food‑handling and cold‑chain procedures.
