Sr. Manager, Corporate Security

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.Position Purpose:Lead and oversee all Corporate Security operations for assigned locations, ensuring the protection of associates, visitors, assets, and facilities. Implement strategic security programs and operational objectives involving personnel, events, and physical locations. Provide leadership and oversight for security incident response, investigations, emergency management, access control, and workplace violence prevention efforts. Serve as the primary security advisor to site and business leaders, providing consultation on security risks, mitigation strategies, and operational planning. Develop and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, including law enforcement, emergency services, and private sector partners, to support a safe and secure operating environment. Ensure compliance with Corporate Security policies, standards, training programs, and best practices while driving continuous improvement across assigned locations.Key Responsibilities:Supervision of identified THD Security Managers and Security staffAssist with supervision and implementation of investigations of alleged or suspected violations of laws, regulations, or company policy concerning criminal and non-criminal activitiesSupervision & implementation of technical/physical security designs for THD facilities. Provide security oversight and training for THD facility staff, and supply chain organizationsAssist with supervision and implementation of executive protectionAssist with supervision and implementation of international security programsAssist with supervision and implementation of THD major event securityAssists in the selection, development, and motivations of staffDirect Manager/Direct Reports:Typically reports to Senior DirectorAccountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Working Conditions:Located in a comfortable indoor area.
