SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Software Engineer (C++) Full Time, Exempt. Location: Victor, NY. Hybrid position (in office as required by job duties, minimum of 1 day per week). Job Overview REDCOM Laboratories, Inc., a U.S. company that specializes in the development of advanced strategic, operational, and tactical communication solutions, is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities In this position, you will be creating and enhancing solutions that power critical communications around the world. You will join the development team for our Sigma software platform. Working in a team environment, you will help architect, design, develop and support applications that provide secure real-time voice, video, and chat communication capabilities. You will be designing and implementing applications used for secure real-time communications (including Voice over IP (VoIP) and Radio over IP (RoIP)) within committed timelines. You will be primarily working in C++ but may also use other languages as needed. A successful candidate will have a working knowledge of modern C++ features equivalent to one or more years of industry experience with the language. In addition to new development, you will be engaging with our customer support team to address customer issues. We operate in an Agile/Scrum environment and use current software development practices such as unit testing, code reviews and continuous integration.
