Senior Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Parker + Lynch) is partnering with a growing company in the KC area and assisting them in their search for a new Senior Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and managing the month-end close process. Hybrid schedule with flexibility Competitive compensation package Fast-growing company with ample opportunities for career development Excellent company culture Exposure to leadership team Responsibilities Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Prepare and post journal entries Complete cash and G/L account reconciliations Assist with month-end close Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations Assist with annual audit Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures Provide financial analysis and reporting Qualifications 5+ years of related experience in accounting or finance Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification preferred Interested?
