Medical Device Repair Technician – Entry Level
Location: Sylmar, CA 91342
Pay: $21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Job Description
We are hiring an Entry-Level Medical Device Repair Technician to work with returned medical devices. This is a hands-on position involving basic repair, cleaning, assembly, and processing of devices.
No previous medical device experience is required – training will be provided.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic service and repair on returned medical devices
- Clean and decontaminate devices using alcohol wipes
- Perform light assembly and production-line work
- Prepare HLA and Return Kits
- Use basic computer systems to document work
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable performing hands-on work
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, repair, or medical device experience is a plus, but not required
