Pediatric Nurse

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN - PEDS CVICU Shift: Rotating D/N, 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Every 3rd weekend Length: 13 weeks Requirements: MN License 2 years of Peds CVS ICU experience required Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery ICU experience is required Student or Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN- formerly NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN or CCNE, at least one year of RN experience (within the last 5 years) in an applicable care setting is required. If graduation did not occur within the last two years, one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required. BLS ACLS PALS Strong cardiac monitoring skills, Central/Arterial line management, pacemaker management, heart transplant experience preferred, ECMO experience is a plus, but not required. 6 months of previous travel required,1 year strongly preferred Other Details: Highly specialized pediatric cardiac surgery intensive care unit providing advanced postoperative management of care. Floating is required as needed to other areas.This may include NICU and General Pediatric care areas.
