Cataract Services Director

We are seeking an individual who combines a passion for helping patients with strong leadership, communication, sales and business development skills. In this role, you will oversee department operations and staff while they guide patients through the cataract surgery journey, by educating patient's about their treatment and lens options, and help them confidently move forward with care. 

Key Responsibilities

• Management of department staff
• Educate patients on surgical procedures, premium lens options, and available services in a clear, ethical, and patient-centered manner.
• Build trust and establish strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient conversion, retention, and overall patient experience while maintaining accurate patient and sales-related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, billing, front office team and management.
• Participate in marketing, outreach, and business-development initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare and business development.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ophthalmology, optometry, or other healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
