Permanent Nurse Manager Federally Qualified Health Center- Durham, North Carolina

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to oversee clinical operations at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Durham, North Carolina. This leadership opportunity supports high-volume outpatient primary care services and focuses on staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care delivery.

Position Details

Schedule & Coverage

• Expected Schedule: MondayFriday
• Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 1 hour
• Call Responsibilities: None
• Weekend Rotation: None
• Telehealth: No

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department operations and clinical workflows
• Lead, hire, train, and schedule clinical staff
• Ensure quality patient care and monitor patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including HIPAA and OSHA
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on care planning
• Manage departmental budget and support financial performance goals
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goal tracking

Requirements

• Active North Carolina RN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• 35 years of progressive healthcare management experience
• Pediatric clinical experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements
• Budget management experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
