Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 6 months of recent acute care hospital Cath Lab experience, ARRT (R), and RCIS or RCES certification for a cardiac cath lab position in Colorado.

Details

• Cardiac cath lab with 8 holding bays and 4 Cath/EP procedure suites
• Staff-to-patient ratio of 3:1 in the procedural area
• Procedures include LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, and Tilt Table Tests
• EP, Structural Heart, Right Heart monitoring, scrubbing, and monitoring skills utilized
• Equipment includes Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab for EP
• EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Day shift hours: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Rotating on-call for nights, with approximately 2 weekends and 9–12 call days per 6-week period

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT (R) required
• RCIS or RCES required; candidates holding either must be willing and able to register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to start
• ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
• Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates should have a positive, hardworking attitude and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
