What Will You Do?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques

• Interprets blueprints, specifications,diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process

• Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness

• Performs a variety ofcomplicatedtasks

• May lead and direct the work of others

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to work inside and outside. Regular exposure to welding debris, heat, cold, dark and bright environments.

REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS

Your Experience Should Be...

Minimum Experience:

15 years related experience

Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):

May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty

REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

• Ability to pass 6G Tig and 2G Stick test

• Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

• Ability to rely onexperience and judgmentto plan and accomplish goals

• Ability to work different shifts

• Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles

• Ability to read drawings

• Ability to lift

• Promotes and supports safety, and production

• Possesses positive attitude
