Switchboard Operator

Four Winds Hospital, a leading provider of psychiatric inpatient services that treats children adolescents and adults, seeks a Part-time Switchboard Operator to work in a friendly, warm environment in our Saratoga Springs location. The job is in-person onsite at our Saratoga Campus in Saratoga Springs, NY. Job highlights: Part time (16hrs/week – Every other Saturday/Sunday, 3:30pm – 12:00am ) Operates multiple telephone line system as well as the two-way radio systems Receive all incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate extension within the facility Greeting and registering hospital visitors, provide them with information or direction Clerical duties such as copy work, data entry, faxing and typing; monitoring and processing the emergency alarm systems Paid Sick Time 401k (employee funded) Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years related experience. Ability to lift 30lbs, bend, sit for extended periods of time. Previous experience either in a psychiatric or health care setting is preferred. Must possess organizational, coordination, communication skills and have a basic knowledge and understanding of human behavior. Experience working with computers is required Flexibility to cover shifts as needed, including some weekdays for scheduled vacations or unscheduled absences within the department.
